Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is an Mexican American Sportscaster. She hosts SportsNation as well as an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. She joined ESPN in the year of 2016. Her mother is the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual since the time she turned nine. The ability that helped her get her first role as a Univision Production Assistant in Miami. In Miami, she worked with the producers of television shows that were national, like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. She was hired as reporter for the CBS St. Petersburg affiliate after that. After 2009, the reporter relocated into Rio Grande Valley Texas where she was employed by KNVO TV 48 Univision as and Fox2 News. The stories she wrote about covered immigration, drug trafficking, and others on the Texas and Mexico border. Additionally, she worked as an anchor and Spanish reporter for the newscast at 5 p.m., an anchor and reporter for the newscast at 9 p.m. in English and also a Spanish reporter at 10 p.m. Also, she was often requested to serve as an anchor for weather and sports. At some point they moved to Mexico City where she was born on the 22nd of November, 1985. She has a sister. In 1992, the family left Mexico to the US and eventually settled in Miami. Soon after, her parents separated and in the year 1995, Fabio Fajardo remarried. He died from kidney cancer in the year 2006. It was during a holiday in the summer that she lived with her sibling living in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had secured the job. At the time of her senior year in high school but having a clear vision of about what she wanted to pursue for her life, Antonietta went to at the University of Mount Union to assess if it suited her needs. She discovered that she was a fan of the campus as well as the fact that it offered the major she wanted. Her high school graduation was in the spring of 2004 and was enrolled in media studies at the college. Her relationship lasted for a while with her teacher Mark Bergmann who was the manager for WRMU 91.1 FM, a station of which she was a part. He was the one who boosted her confidence and whose passion in Journalism touched her deeply. In turn, she determined to meet his demands and never let him down.
