Azita Ghanizada

Azita was born in Kabul in Afghanistan. The woman is Afghan American who lives in the United States. She is an American actor from Afghanistan that was raised in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing her country of birth the family relocated towards the US. The family was given asylum and allowed to stay. Her sister in law took care of her within Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her career in TV by playing in several National Commercials. Ghanizada won the award for the best actress at the 2004 film festival for her performance in the Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. The actress played the role of Chiara. Television guest-starring roles are How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. She most recently had the role of a support actress in the action science fiction film Blood Shot (2009) and the independent comedies You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada started her acting career in 2008, when she joined the crew of the General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. Season 2 of Nightshift saw Ghanizada play the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra, a specialist in holistic medicine. Ghanizada starred as Kelly as a Prada Sales Girl on HBO Entourage in 2009 and was also part of the pilot television Tough Trade by Weeds creator Jenji Kohn and the executive producer T Bone Burnett.
